Sandro Zolezzi

"My main motivation to teach at ULEAD was the desire to share knowledge and years of experience in the field of free trade and attracting foreign investment. I consider it key to get my students to engage in critical thinking”.  ​

Chilean. Sandro is a civil and industrial engineer with a specialization in resource optimization and an MBA from Costa Rica’s INCAE Business School.

He is now the Director of Research for the Costa Rican Coalition for Development Initiatives (CINDE). Previously, he was Corporate Commercial Director for Mercantil.com in Chile and América Económica’s Circulation Manager for in Chile, Mexico and Brazil.

He has also been a researcher at INCAE Business School and Assistant Professor at the University of Chile’s School of Engineering where he taught business economics, calculus III and applied linear algebra.

He has written numerous articles, which have been published nationally and abroad. Sandro won the 2014 Thunderbird Award of the Business Association of Latin American Studies (BALAS) for his article Electronic Procurement of Pharmaceuticals and Medical Devices in Chile.
