North American. An industrial engineer from the University of Costa Rica, with an MBA from National University and a Master of Engineering in Logistics degree from MIT.
Luis is now an international consultant on logistics, chain supply management and operations management.
He was Regional Logistics Manager for Aliaxis Latinoamérica (2012-2016) and Director of Logistics and Supply Chain at Grupo Durman (2001-2010). He was also Project Manager at Dole Fresh Fruit, Operations Manager at DHL and Process and Product Engineer at Baxter Healthcare.
He has authored numerous publications on inventory management, strategies and logistics, both nationally and abroad. Luis also teaches at the University of Costa Rica’s School of Industrial Engineering.
