Dyala Jiménez

Costa Rican. Dyala is a law graduate from the University of Costa Rica and earned an LL.M. in International Law from Georgetown University.

She worked in Paris at an international law firm and then went on to become the International Chamber of Commerce’s first female Director for Latin America (2004 – 2007) and was based in Santiago, Chile. She later worked in Chile for two renowned law firms before founding DJ Arbitraje.

In Costa Rica, she has served as an adviser to the Minister of Finance as well as parliamentary adviser.

Dyala has also taught at the University of Chile and has been a lecturer for this university’s LL.M. degree program in partnership with the Heidelberg Institute.

She is often a guest speaker in different forums and has published numerous articles on international arbitration.
