An executive program focused on integrated leadership and enhancement of directive and management skills. This internationally recognized program allows participants to become certified by the International Coach Federation (ICF).

The Integrated Leadership and Coaching executive program will enable participants’ personal and professional growth by addressing topics such as:

  • Emotional intelligence
  • Spiritual intelligence
  • Social intelligence
  • Awareness and handling of language impact
  • Ability to help yourself and others
  • Effective management of meetings or stressful situations
  • Decision making
  • Problem solving

The program is imparted together with OlaCoach and Centro de Estudios Garrigues, a renowned negotiation institute with five of its master’s programs ranked among Spain’s best. This executive program is made up of four modules, which are completed over an eight-month period, for a total of 124 interactive hours of which 95 are face-to-face. Participants have the option to attend an additional module to become an ICF-certified coach. The last week of this program takes place at Centro de Estudios Garrigues, Madrid, Spain.     

Curriculum:Integral Leadership and Coaching

Level 1: Coaching Skills for Leadership

  • Concept, origin and philosophy of coaching
  • What is and isn’t coaching? Differences with other professions. Tools and the 11 core coaching competencies
  • How to deal with clients? P.S.E.G.A.R.© Model
  • Understanding among teams and its application on business environments
  • Different levels of listening
  • Efficient meetings
  • Linguistic markers for direct communication
  • Obstacles to coaching and how to overcome them
  • Stages of learning. Powerful basic questions
  • Intuition and neuroscience at the service of coaching

Level 2B: Adding Another Dimension to Coaching

  • Accomplishing goals (FU-PRE Model)
  • Obstacles facing clients
  • Transpersonal coaching
  • Neurological levels. Keeping teams motivated
  • Emotional intelligence and its application to business
  • Awareness and responsibility

Level 3: Coach Certification (optional)

  • Perfecting professional coaching skills. Those who complete the program have the option to become an ICF-certified coach. Certification entails an additional six months of training (distance courses) focused on strengthening competencies through group and individual mentoring, live sessions, practical laboratories, exam preparation and group assignments.  

Level 2A: Building Solid Coaching Skills

  • Beliefs and values. Strengthening work teams
  • Rapport and calibration. Empathy between teams
  • Awareness and responsibility
  • Useful coaching tools for sets of values and MaNecesidades©
  •  Establishing trust and a close relationship between coach and client

Level 2C: Success and Transition Coaching

  • Fulfilling goals. Meeting objectives.
  • Positive Mental Attitude (PMA)
  • Characteristics of a good coach
  • Successful communication
  • Powerful questions detecting intention
  • Establishing the coaching partnership​

As part of our strategy to offer innovative executive programs to our students and the general public, LEAD University has partnered with world-renowned organizations and experts as well as business, leadership and coaching specialists, among others.

In 2017, we are offering the “Integrated Leadership and Coaching” executive program in conjunction with two prominent organizations:

  • OlaCoach: Established in 2001 by internationally renowned coaches, José Luis Menéndez and Christian Worth, with the purpose of disseminating coaching in Spanish to both individuals and companies. OlaCoach specializes in: professional coaching, personal coaching, sports coaching and coaching for people with ADD and ADHD (Attention Deficit Disorder and Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder), among others.
  • Centro de Estudios Garrigues, Madrid, Spain: A benchmark professional training organization in the legal, finance and human resources fields, Garrigues conducts educational and research activities and serves as a conduit to successfully transfer expertise, knowledge and methodology. Its more than 300 faculty members have ties with Spain’s most important companies, financial institutions and public entities. As part of its partnership with ULEAD, the “Integrated Leadership and Coaching” executive program includes a week in Spain, at the Centro de Estudios Garrigues.
