Ronulfo Jiménez

Costa Rican. An economics graduate from the University of Costa Rica, Ronulfo served as Director of El Financiero newspaper’s Financial Intelligence Project and was Director of Costa Rica’s Central Bank. He is a member of Academia de Centroamérica, vice president of the Costa Rican Association of Development Organizations (ACORDE) and an adviser to the country’s president.

He has taught Economics, International Trade and Research at the University of Costa Rica.

In 1985, together with Eduardo Lizano and Víctor Hugo Céspedes, he was given La Nación newspaper’s Áncora Award for the book Costa Rica: crisis y empobrecimiento.
